Welcome to ClubHypoxia™.com!
Club Hypoxia™ was formed December 31st, 2004 by some friends who had met through bikejournal.com. The club has a physical presence in the Front Range cities of Colorado, but our virtual presence extends across all bicycling communities.
2010 Clothing Order
I am going to do the pricing for this order differently this year. We are going to use Champ Sys's price list.
Email me what you would like to order, your method of payment, and your address if you need it shipped.
I will add the shipping and handling for each order and give you the total.
Shipping is via USPS.
I accept check, paypal, or cash. My email address is datajunkieco@gmail.com. This is also the paypal address.
I would be surprised if we can make the minimums for socks or the mini jersey.
Club Hypoxia ReUnion: Beauty and Peaches in Grand Junction
Who: All Club Hypoxia members worldwide (or anyone who likes bicycles)**
When: Friday, Aug. 27 thru Monday, Aug. 30
Where: Grand Junction, Colorado
Why: Awesome bike rides, friendship, fresh peaches (the peach festival takes place the weekend before), beer, fun. Do I really need to spell it all out for you?
Club Hypoxia's Grand Junction ReUnion a Spectacular Success!
Day 1: 11 of us met up as planned -- Howard, BalticTiger, Pansy, Mr. Pansy, Valygrl, RoadBikr, SuperNana, Popeye, 9-year-old Peanut, wheels_go_round, and Taz -- and rode the bike paths of Grand Junction in 90F heat. About 23 miles. The first loop up northwest was very nice with a long, gradual climb, followed by a rapid descent through a canyon of tree cover to the Colorado River floodplain. We also got a bit lost, but that only meant extra mileage.
The Six Pack
The Six Pack. The Triple Bypass out and back. 240 miles. 22000 feet. 2 days.
Let me start by saying that half of us didn't finish the original intended route. And I'll follow that up with the fact that it just didn't matter and we all had a great and glorious adventure!
5th Annual Trail Ridge Epic
That's right, this year's ride is the 5th Annual! The date has been set for Tuesday, August 10th. We'll leave from Casa Deadhead in Loveland and ride up the Big Thompson Canyon and Devil's Gulch to Estes Park. Then it's into Rocky Mountain National Park and over the summit of Trail Ridge Road to the visitor's center where we'll take a lunch break and return the way we came. This ride is a classic!
A little house cleaning
You may notice some changes to the layout of the site. I have consolidated some things like the photo albums, which weren't being utilized enough to justify one for each year. I've also eliminated the chat feature. Streamlined the home page and got rid of some clutter. I hope you approve of the changes. They are nothing major, but do tidy the place up a bit, I think. :)
Zin
5 year clothing design input
We had issues getting this going the last time around. Is anyone interested in another attempt?
Thinking about changing to a forum software package
I'm thinking about changing the hypoxia.com software from the current CMS system to a forum system.
I'll be installing it into a test directory soon so everyone will be able to take a look at it.
Here's your chance to speak up. :)
